I am so excited that it has been snowing here this week! Since moving to Nashville, we have experienced a blooming spring, a blazing summer, and a crispy fall, but no real winter yet. Last winter was weird and we were wearing t-shirts in January and the daffodils bloomed in February.
I am one of those people that really loves the seasons. I need four true seasons every year. For me, it's not the holidays or the cuisine that make the season, it's the weather. {And I'll be honest, secondly, it's the fashion trends.}
Where we both went to college {and then moved back for Lee to get his master's}, there was a true winter, every winter. Snow and ice and a couple of blizzards every year. So I was a bit disheartened by winter in Nashville last year.
...but this year we have appropriate winter weather! I am so excited!
This was Dexter's first experience with snow. He loves it. Anytime he goes out in the backyard he just runs around in circles like crazy and forgets that he's out there to do his business. The first time we went out when it was actually snowing, he was super confused. He kept looking back at me as if wondering why I wasn't freaked out by this strangely cold, but delicious phenomenon. It was hilarious.

We took Bullet out in the snow when he was about 8 weeks old and he got too cold! So he layed in the back seat of the car with a blanket on him while the kids and other dogs played. Brewski likes to run with his nose to the ground and burrow. It's so freakin' cute!
Feel free to visit Minnesota any time your need your "winter weather" fix!!
I'll even let you shovel my driveway, if you want the full experience....
I was actually thinking of you and how you would scoff at our "snow" when I posted this. No thank you! This is the perfect amount of snow for me :)
