Well, I interviewed for and got an internship today! It's at a pediatric clinic and it seems like it will be a great experience. The manager seems like she's willing to teach me as much as I want to learn and I will get a variety of experiences that will look great on my resume.
My last class is 02/11 and I start the internship on 02/13. It will be 200 hours {five weeks-ish} and then I'll be done with school and ready to work! I can't wait to be earning a paycheck again!!!
In other news, we finally had decent weather and I was able to spray paint my $24.95 thrift shop score...
Finally! A mirror to go over the mantle! Not thrilled that the reflection is of the wall that separates the kitchen and hallway but I'll get over it. I think that once I replace those red curtains {original owner's} I may paint the frame a fun statement color, but white works for now.
As the adorable matching kitty mantle decorations are showing, the mirror was originally a brushed silver/ugly color {it looks better in the picture than it did in real life}.
Spray paint is amazing.

Yay! Congrats on your internship. Seems to me as a reader of your blog that the whole process has gone by pretty quickly (might feel different for you!). Love the mirror and am definitely inspired to change up the ugly wood one that I have had hanging out in the shop for a while. Now I just have to figure out where to put it....
Posted pics of the pups a few days ago, just in case you haven't seen them yet.
